HP Unveils 360-degree Convertible PC
PALO ALTO, Calif. — HPtoday announced the HP Pavilionx360, an affordable touch convertible PC that transforms thecomputing experience with a 360-degree hinge that adapts to the waythe next generation lives.
To help on-the-go customersconnect to the internet without the need for Wi-Fi, HP alsoannounced the expansion of its free HP DataPass(1)broadband service to 12 additional countries, including the UnitedStates.

Work and play fromthe couch to the classroom
Whether doing work at thedesk, relaxing on the couch, or taking notes and sharingpresentations in the classroom, the HP Pavilion x360 easilyconverts from notebook mode to stand or tent mode, or to tabletmode.
- Notebook mode allows users easily answer email, take notes orwrite a paper.
- Customers can relax on the couch and use the HP Pavilion x360to watch movies or video chat in stand mode without having thekeyboard get in the way.
- In tent mode, customers can play games, browse photos and sharetheir screen with friends in a more collaborative way.
- By transitioning the device’s 360-degree hinge all the way intotablet mode, customers can browse social networks or read books onthe go.
The HP Pavilion x360 isavailable in two stylish colors that reflect customers’ personalstyle—Brilliant Red and Smoke Silver. The convertible offers a softtouch finish that resists fingerprints and features brushedaluminum on the keyboard deck.
Music lovers will enjoy theHP Pavilion x360’s powerful entertainment performance powered bybuilt-in Beats Audio™, dual speakers designed for great sound inany position and an optimized touch screen. Users also can accesstheir music, stream songs on-demand and create playlists with HPConnected Music.
For young professionals onthe go, or busy students, the HP Pavilion x360 is the idealportable companion, with a weight of just 3.08pounds.(2) It is equipped with an 11.6-inch diagonalhigh-definition (HD) SVA display with 10-point capacitivemultitouch, Intel® Pentium® processor, and an HP TrueVision HDwebcam.(3)
Beyond the boundsof Wi-Fi
HP DataPass simplifies howcustomers connect to the internet when Wi-Fi is not available byincluding two years of free mobile broadband service within selectPCs and tablets.
Ready out of the box, HPDataPass allows customers to simply turn on, register andimmediately connect to the internet with two years of free 3G+ or4G mobile broadband service powered by Fogg Mobile.
Customers receive up to 250MB per month at no cost and can purchase additional monthly datapackages at low rates and without a contract.
The HP Pavilion x360 isexpected to be available in the Brilliant Red color in the UnitedStates on Feb. 26 for a starting price of $399.99.
HP DataPass is currentlyavailable on select notebooks, Chromebooks and tablets in the UK,Sweden and Denmark; availability will expand to 12 additionalcountries, including the United States, this summer. HP DataPass isexpected to be available on the HP Pavilion x360 in select regionsstarting this summer.
