HP ArcSight named a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM, 10 years in a row.
The 2013 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Security Information and Event Management has been published and HP Arcsight is in the Leaders Quadrant for the tenth consecutive year. Gartner evaluates vendors in a Magic Quadrant on two main dimensions – completeness of vision and ability to execute on that vision. HP Arcsight continues its strong leadership on both dimensions, driving its placement as the most visionary.
HP ArcSight is able to combine contextual understanding using threat analysis from Cloud applications and Big Data. By correlating usage patterns of data and sentiment analysis from social media, HP continues to be at the forefront of helping customers reach a predictive understanding of their threat landscape from both inside and outside their network.

HP releases the 2012 Cyber Security Risk Report The HP 2012 Cyber Risk Report is an annual collaboration among groups within HP Enterprise Security Products that gives organizations a view into the threat landscape that can help them determine how to best deploy their limited resources to reduce their security risk. Key findings include: - Web applications remain a popular and viable attack vector, due in no small measure to a lack of both organizations and developers to correct longstanding vulnerabilities.
- Old and new technologies alike introduce new security vulnerabilities. Both mobile application vulnerabilities and SCADA vulnerabilities have seen dramatic increases over the past five years.
