More than 10 million web-connected printers allow users to stay connected and productive on the go


HP today announced new mobile printing solutions and content services to grow HP’s innovation lead in imaging and printing technologies. HP’s new line-up of HP ENVY110 e-All-in-One and Photosmart e-All-in-One printers will be added to the suite of 10 million web-connected printers that now allow users to stay connected and productive on the go.

“HP continuously seeks to enhance and redefine our users’ experience with their printers at home,” said Stephen Nigro, Senior Vice President, Inkjet Web Solutions, HP Imaging & Printing Group. “Our new web-connected home printers with a growing suite of mobile solutions and content services will provide greater control, helping our customers to stay connected on the go, and print from wherever they are.”

Growing Suite of Mobile Solutions to Stay Connected

HP has introduced new mobile printing solutions, which allows for increased control and broader capabilities that contribute to an enhanced printing experience.

  • The HP Printer Control mobile app transforms the screen on a mobile device into the HP printer display to provide wireless control over printing, copying and scanning.  
  • The new HP ePrint Home & Biz mobile app unifies the ePrint1  experience with a free tool for Android, iOS, and Symbian smartphones, making it easy to locate a printer and print in the simplest way from anywhere in the world.
  • With Social ID, HP is making it even easier for customers to print from virtually anywhere using HP ePrint1. New and existing customers around the world can now customize their ePrint email address, making it as much a part of their “social ID” as their email address.

With HP’s web-connected printers, users can enjoy cutting-edge mobile printing solutions that were first introduced in the industry including HP ePrint1, AirPrintTM 3 and GoogleTM Cloud Print 4.

New Services Delivering Content that Matters

About 100 print apps2 are now available in the Asia Pacific region, with a quarter of them offering local content. Users can easily program for Scheduled Delivery of selected content to their web-connected printers.

HP continues to grow its suite of local print apps to provide content that matters for our users and announces today its partnership with five new content providers in Asia Pacific. Anyschool (Korea), Magic Hanja (Korea) and Modern Educational Research Society, Ltd. (Hong Kong) will provide educational print-outs for young children, alongside Sesame Street which will provide local content for users in China. Meishi China will also offer recipes for users in China. In addition, HP is announcing the development of the HP Go Family China print app that will provide family gifts-greeting cards, wrapping paper, calendar for special occasions.

An Elegantly Designed Printer that is too Beautiful to Hide

The slim profile and sleek design of HP ENVY110 e-All-in-One is now accentuated with a new white and cream color, and will be made more widely available across 12 countries in Asia Pacific. This printer succeeds the HP ENVY100 e-All-in-One printer, which has received prominent design accolades including the iF Product Design Award 2011, Red Dot Design Award 2011 and Good Design Australia – Australian International Design Award 2011 (Silver).

Elegantly designed, HP ENVY110’s slim profile and sleek look complement any room in the home. A high-resolution 3.45-inch touchscreen display with gesturing capabilities allows for printing, scanning, copying and browsing of content on print apps2 with the ease of a finger’s swipe. Whisper-quiet during printing, conversations and TV programs can continue uninterrupted when sharing photos during gatherings with loved ones. 

“Beyond a sleek appearance and a new light cream color that blends easily with its environment, HP ENVY110 e-All-in-One printer comes with subtle features such as whisper-quiet printing and a tray that extends and retracts automatically during printing. This combination has created a new notion of the printer as a designer show-piece at home,” added Stephen.

This PVC-free printer comes with an automated two-sided printing feature.5 A web-connected printer, the HP ENVY110 e-All-in-One enables users to enjoy mobile printing to stay productive and connected on the go. 

The HP ENVY110 e-All-in-One printer is available at an estimated street price of US$299 from October 2011.6

New Photosmart e-All-in-One Printers for Consumers

HP is launching a new series of web-connected Photosmart printers – HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One; HP Photosmart 6510 e-All-in-One; HP Photosmart 5510 e-All-in-One – which enable users to print high-quality photo and everyday documents from virtually anywhere with HP ePrint1 technology, and directly access Web content through print apps2.

From November 2011, the HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One printer will be available at an estimated street price of US$199.6 In October 2011, the HP Photosmart 6510 e-All-in-One printer will be available at an estimated street price of US$149, and the HP Photosmart 5510 e-All-in-One printer will be available at an estimated street price of US$99.6
