OneAsia選用HP方案以支持客戶對雲端服務日益增加的需求

 香港,2012年11月2日 — HP今天宣佈OneAsia Network Limited 已選用HP 融合雲端(HP Converged Cloud)解決方案,以支持客戶對其雲端服務不斷上升的需求。

OneAsia之成立在於回應客戶的需求,為香港不同大小的企業提供雲端及託管服務。OneAsia初期雲端服務設置的增長促使了Cloud8tation的發展,Cloud8tation是建基於雲端的基礎架構即服務(infrastructure-as-a-Service)及軟件即服務(Software-as-a-Service)的全新產品組合。

為推出Cloud8tation,OneAsia需要一個具成本效益、可延展而可靠的解決方案,能迅速供應雲端基礎架構及應用程式。OneAsia選用建基於HP融合基礎架構(HP Converged Infrastructure)HP CloudSystem Matrix 作為全新服務的基礎。HP CloudSystem是HP融合雲端組合的核心元素,讓OneAsia得以為客戶簡化建立私有半私有及公用雲端。

此外,OneAsia亦利用HP Cloud Maps結合HP CloudSystem,把創建全新雲端服務的時間由數個月減至數分鐘。HP Cloud Maps乃預先組裝的應用程式模板,具自動供應及交付服務目錄功能,可在雲端服務架構的設計過程中節省數星期時間。藉著提供更快捷的服務,OneAsia能更妥善地回應客戶業務需求的變動及關鍵的IT要求。

OneAsia Network Limited執行董事黃德成表示:「隨著香港企業對雲端運算的需求增加,我們必須提供快捷、可靠及具成本效益的服務以維持競爭力。HP讓我們得以建立可延展及靈活的基礎架構,能迅速滿足客戶需要並維持高服務水平。我們採用HP CloudSystem只需一小時便能為客戶落實執行雲端服務,而以往卻需要十五天。」

以HP CloudSystem為基礎的解決方案讓OneAsia於香港數據中心能夠為客戶提供實惠及靈活的雲端服務。有關方案包括:

  • HP ProLiant 伺服器(包括HP ProLiant BL460c G7及HP ProLiant DL360 G7)為OneAsia提供高效能的運算能力,並透過提升空間及能源效益減低成本。
  • HP Integrated Lights Out 3 (iLO 3)讓OneAsia可在任何地點主動管理HP ProLiant 伺服器的效能。
  • HP Virtual Connect Flex-10 10Gb Ethernet Module for BladeSystem c-Class協助OneAsia減少佈線並毋須增加交換機作管理,從而簡化基礎架構,使其為應付轉變準備就緒。此舉讓OneAsia得以透過一個控制台,能迅速增加、取締和刪減伺服器,而不影響網絡配置或可用性。
  • HP EVA支援OneAsia的龐大儲存需要,卻毋須在功能或效能上妥協。

在HP融合雲端上運行之Cloud8tation提供全新的應用程式包括:

  • 視像監控檔案的中央儲存,可協助客戶從單一的安全來源,而非多個獨立的數碼攝錄機中輕易取得已存檔的視像檔案。
  • 專門搜集、分析及相關性數據之保安運作中心(Security Operations Center),能即時確認保安事故及通報客戶。
  • Microsoft® Exchange及OneAsia電郵的寄存服務,根據最新技術為客戶提供具成本效益及可延展之解決方案。
  • 災難復原解決方案,只需傳統災難復原的部份成本,便可提供更快捷的復原時間及多地點(multi-site)的可用性。

OneAsia計劃在其新加坡數據中心引入同樣的應用程式。
