Rob Binns is Vice President of Investor Relations for Hewlett-Packard. In this role, Binns is responsible for managing relationships and interactions with target audiences of the company including its shareholders and stakeholders, its investors (domestic and foreign), as well as the analysts who comment on its performance.
Binns joined HP in 2006 as Finance Director for HP Software in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions following the acquisition of Mercury Interactive. In this role, he successfully integrated financial aspects of the Mercury acquisition in EMEA. Subsequently, he held leadership roles in EMEA HP Services Finance and in worldwide Sales Finance for HP Software before becoming Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations for HP Software.
Earlier in his career, Binns held finance leadership roles in the software industry in the UK and Canada including tenures at Documentum Software (now owned by EMC Corporation) and Mercury Interactive.
Binns is a Fellow of Chartered Association of Certified Accountants in the UK. He is based in Cupertino, Calif.
