Does your data center involve complex, heterogeneous storage networking components where trouble shooting is very resource intensive? HP Intelligent Infrastructure Analyzer Software is an online monitoring and diagnostic product intended to manage the physical layer of a data center. It enables users to diagnose changes in Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver characteristics and can be used to detect potential failures in the SAN for root cause analysis and failure impact assessment.

Diagnosing SAN issues can be exceedingly time-consuming and there is a tremendous need to isolate and resolve problems quickly—in a matter of minutes or hours as opposed to days or weeks. HP Intelligent Infrastructure Analyzer Software improves the total datacenter quality experience by predicting optical link failures and helps reduce costs incurred due to application downtime.

Features

Improves Total SAN Quality Experience by Detecting Likely Optical Link Failures Before They Occur

The HP Intelligent Infrastructure Analyzer Software enables the discovery of SAN components and provides users with the ability to monitor the optical parameters of SFPs in HP Fibre Channel HBAs, HP B-series and H-series switches, select HP Networking switches and HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage.
The HP Intelligent Infrastructure Analyzer Software enables data center administrators to proactively monitor specific storage networking optical links, to detect devices that are likely beginning to fail and also prompts the administrators to replace failing devices.
The HP Intelligent Infrastructure Analyzer Software examines SFP failure events for root cause analysis and failure impact assessment, records status and provides recommendations.
The HP Intelligent Infrastructure Analyzer Software manages event logs and sends notification to user upon detecting events/failures.
The Intelligent Infrastructure Analyzer Software generates reports with SAN topology, SAN inventory and SAN diagnostic information.
