  • Simplify managing complex environments with library partitioning. HP Secure Manager Tape Library Software allows the user to logically divide the library into up to six virtual tape libraries. This function is especially useful when multiple SANs or backup software packages are present.
  • HP Extended Tape Library Architecture (ETLA) simplifies the installation and integration of the library into the SAN. ETLA-based libraries are self-aware, self-managed, and automatically maintained, to simplify monitoring and maintenance.
