Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

"Eligible Product"means HP product originating from the Promoter, coded with the following;

"End User" is a Participant who purchases an eligible product for his, her or its own personal use in New Zealand , and not for resale or re-supply or export.

"Participant" means a resident of New Zealand who purchases an eligible product(s) from an HP reseller or business partner in New Zealand during the Promotional period and is the end user of that Product.

"Product" means any HP product model mentioned within the terms and conditions.

"Promoter" means Hewlett-Packard New Zealand Pty Ltd of 22 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Maritime Square, Auckland.

The "Promotional Period" commences on 01 March 2011 and ends on 31 October 2011 ("Promotional Period"). All entries must be received by 5pm EST 30 November 2011. Participant(s) will forfeit claims not made by this date.

The "Extension Period" commences on 01 November 2011 and ends on 30 April 2012 ("Promotional Period"). All entries must be received by 5pm EST 30 May 2012. Participant(s) will forfeit claims not made by this date.

The "Second Extension Period" commences on 01 May 2012 and ends on 31 October 2012 ("Promotional Period"). All entries must be received by 5pm EST 30 November 2012. Participant(s) will forfeit claims not made by this date.

The "Third Extension Period" commences on 01 October 2012 and ends on 30 April 2013 ("Promotional Period"). All entries must be received by 5pm EST 31 May 2013.

The "Fourth Extension Period" commences on 01 May2012 and ends on 31^st October 2013 ("Promotional Period"). All entries must be received by 5pm EST 30^th November 2013.

Participant(s) will forfeit claims not made by this date.

2. Information on how to enter and Promotion details form part of these terms and conditions.

3. This Promotion is not available with any other offer, excluding HP cash back offers. The Promoter reserves the right to reduce the refund amount by any cash back claim already made on the product as determined by the tax invoice.

4. To enter this Promotion the Participant must register for a refund online within 30 days of the purchase date as stated on the Tax Invoice. The Promoter will arrange for a courier to pick up the eligible HP product along with a photocopy of the original tax invoice (no hand written receipts). Once validated, the Promoter will refund the Participant in full for the total purchase price of the eligible product.

5. The 30 Day Money Back Guarantee offer excludes HP ink cartridges, extended warranties, additional paper trays, HP Carepacks or any other printer accessories. HP will not refund the purchase price of excluded products that are purchased in conjunction with the printer.

6. The returning product can only be picked up from the Participant’s address.

7. The payments will be made by electronic bank transfer or by Cheque within 75 days after receipt of the return product at the Promoter’s warehouse.

8. A maximum of (3) three product(s) per Participant can be returned.

9. All required information must be supplied online, including GST, serial number, proof of purchase and bar code from the product box.

10. The returned product must be in a saleable condition, undamaged and must include all original packaging and accessories (including ink cartridges, other detachable parts, manuals, network adapter, CDs, cables, etc).

11. The Promoter reserves the right to modify or extend the closing date and criteria of the Promotion at its discretion.

12. Entry is only open to Participants. Employees of the Promoter, participating agents and their agencies associated with this Promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant or person tampering with the entry process.

13. The Promoters decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions.

14. Liability for any tax on any refunds awarded to a Participant pursuant to this Promotion shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant. It is recommended that Participants contact their own accountant or taxation advisor in this regard.

15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect, consequential or economic loss), or for a personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participation in this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

16. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter’s privacy policy may be viewed at: http://www.hp.com/country/nz/eng/privacy.htm.

17. The Promoter will use the information contained in the Promotion entry form to contact Participants if it has any queries regarding claims.

18. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in New Zealand.

19. All claims become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects your personal details in order to conduct this Promotion, and may pass that information to its related bodies corporate and agencies assisting with the Promotion, which may be outside New Zealand. If the information requested is not provided, you may not participate in this Promotion. The Promoter will use the information contained in the entry form to contact you if it has any queries regarding claims, and to send prizes. If you give your consent HP may contact you from time to time with information about special offers and products and services that may interest you, but you may unsubscribe later if you no longer wish to receive further marketing information. 20. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in New Zealand
