HP Expands Print and Mobile Offerings for HP MagCloud
PALO ALTO, Calif., --HPtoday announced updates to its HP MagCloud portfolio,withfeatures that provide publishers improved options in both printanddigital offerings.
- The redesigned MagCloudiPad application(app) is more intuitive, offers improvedfunctionality and supportsthe Retina display of the new iPad. Thenew app lets users sign into their HP MagCloud account to downloadand read digitalpublications previously purchased through MagCloud.com, andenablesthem to store and manage purchased publications in acloud-basedlibrary. The app also allows publishers to inserthyperlinks intotheir publications, providing a richer readerexperience and newmonetization options for advertisers. The HPMagCloud iPad app isavailable at no additional cost in the iPadAppStore.
- The squareproduct is a new compact publication format that isideal forportfolios, look books, small catalogs, handbooks andmore. It canbe perfect bound or saddle stitched and is 8 incheswide by 8inches tall.
- Expanding the flyerproduct options beyond standard letter size,new formats are 8inches by 8 inches, 5.5 inches wide by 8.5 inchestall and 8.5inches wide by 5.5 inches tall. All are printed onpremium paperstock, helping users give their publications a moreprofessionalfeel. In addition, flyer products now come with theoption of UVcoating for increased durability. These new productsizes are idealfor wedding programs, real estate postcards andevent flyers.
