General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, Singapore
Janice LIM is a 18-year old veteran at HP. She has held various management appointments at HP entities - Asia-Pacific, South-East-Asia regions, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore - spanning sales, marketing, category management, planning and operations functions.
Janice is credited as a strong leader of high-performance teams who work collaboratively across regions and functions to deliver results in the short term and build fundamentals for sustainable long term business growth.
Janice commands good knowledge and experience across different customer segments – Consumer, SMB and Enterprise - and related Go-to-Market Business Models and Partnerships. With her strong passion for the business, and commitment to employee engagement and growth, Janice has demonstrated an excellent track record of surpassing business targets – sales, profit, market share, and developing talent.
Janice is currently the General Manager of Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) at Hewlett Packard Sales Singapore. Under her leadership, IPG Singapore has enjoyed exceptional levels of performance and strong market leadership positions. From January-August 2011, Janice took on a stretch assignment as General Manager, IPG Hewlett Packard Sales Thailand. During the 8-month period, Janice made significant contribution in fostering strong teamwork, structure and process for business sustainability.
Prior to this, Janice was the Director for HP’s LaserJet Business Unit within the Imaging and Printing Group for Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific & Japan. She led a team of Product/Business Managers who are responsible for maximizing revenue, profit and market share for HP’s LaserJet business. The key focus is to deliver compelling customer value and experience with innovative products, solutions and programs.
Janice also held the role of Director for Channel Marketing & Operations for the Imaging and Printing Group in Asia Pacific and Japan. In this role, she led the development of HP’s Consumer Route-to-Market Strategy and development of channel programs to maximize HP’s market reach, partner satisfaction and to deliver the best select and buy experience for customers. Janice also spearheaded HP’s Consumer Experience marketing initiative in collaboration with partners to provide the best technology experience for customers. Post-merger HP, Janice led the integration of HP and Compaq’s channel business operations and infrastructure that contributed to HP’s cost-efficiency initiative whilst improving overall partner experience.
Janice holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo, Japan.
