Vice President and Managing Director
Kelly Tan is vice president and managing director for HP Singapore. She is responsible for overall revenues and profitability, business operations and driving HP's leadership in Singapore.
Tan has close to 20 years' experience with HP, spanning a variety of roles. Prior to becoming managing director for HP Singapore, she was vice president of worldwide marketing for HP's Graphics Solutions Business (GSB), a part of HP Imaging and Printing. With responsibility for delivering profitable revenue growth, innovative customer experiences and positive go-to-market synergies across all business segments, she successfully established strong market leadership and growth. Specific successes include the development of a new Returns on Marketing Investment model, an integrated three year IT /supply chain roadmap and a new solutions partner program.
Prior to her global marketing role, Tan was vice president of HP Enterprise Printing for Asia Pacific and Japan. She was instrumental in growing HP Enterprise Printing four times above the market growth rate, establishing strong market leadership and improving profitability.
In her tenure at HP, Tan has held several other positions, including leading HP Imaging and Printing in Southeast Asia, where she was responsible for maximizing regional profit and revenue growth. With a balanced performance from all seven countries and five categories under her leadership, she successfully grew the region and established strong market share.
Tan has an MBA from University of Dubuque, Iowa. She also holds a Bachelor's degree with a dual major in Logistics/Transportation and International Business, and a minor in Japanese Language and Industrial Psychology from Ohio State University.
