HP Helps Cinfa Boost Salesforce Mobility

NAVARRA, Spain, Jan 28, 2014 — HP today announced that pharmaceutical company Cinfa has increased the mobility and productivity of its 250 sales representatives by equipping them with the HP EliteBook Revolve, an ultra-thin touch-enabled convertible notebook that pivots to let users share their work, and folds to go mobile as a tablet.

Spain's leading pharmaceutical laboratory in sales by volume through retail pharmacies, Cinfa has 900 employees. The company develops, manufactures and markets prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, orthopaedic products, dermo-cosmetic products and nutritional solutions from its head offices in Navarra.

“We were looking for a durable, high performance notebook and minimal downtime that was easy to deploy,” says Lluis Pérez, CIO, Cinfa. “The HP EliteBook Revolve ensures complete mobility for our sales workers. As well as allowing them to work in a tablet format in order to take notes wherever they are, it provides secure remote access to the company’s confidential information.”

Built with HP Client Management and Client Security solutions to protect device, data and user identity, the HP Revolve is packed with all the tools that Cinfa’s IT team needs to securely deploy and manage the fleet across the enterprise.

Optimised for Windows® 8, and with Microsoft Office already installed, the HP EliteBook Revolve offers the performance and visuals of a full-power notebook with the flexibility to quickly switch to a touch-enabled tablet, giving Cinfa’s sales team full mobility.

To ensure maximum uptime, the robust HP EliteBook Revolve meets military standard 810G testing for drop, vibration, functional shock, dust, altitude and extreme temperatures, while a magnesium chassis and spill-resistant keyboard help to ensure worry-free work in the field. In the event of any fault, defect or failure during the warranty period, HP partner IECISA provides a completely configured replacement within 24 hours, anywhere in the country.

“Organisations like Cinfa need mobile devices that do not compromise on performance, reliability or security,” says Marco A. Viejo, BNBs Category Manager Printing and Personal Sytem Group, HP Spain. “As well as providing Cinfa’s salesforce with a stable platform for at least the next 18 months, the resilient HP EliteBook Revolve offers the option to leverage near field communication (NFC) technology to simplify Wi-Fi communications.”
