Who I am
I’m a Service Delivery Manager with a focus on proactive IT support. My goal is to help our clients decrease cases of critical IT failure and reduce the cost of responding to such issues. The more clients can shift their focus to prevention, the more they can minimize the costs associated with reactive support and business downtime. Eventually, by shifting to a proactive mindset, they start seeing opportunities for growth. It’s at that point they can see the full potential of their IT operation: as source for new, revenue-generating ideas.
What I have learned
A lot of my work is about preventing IT issues, but when one crops up for a client, I think of it as a “real moment” for our team. It’s an occasion to perform for the client—to prove ourselves by making a positive impact. And it’s a chance to really understand their business perspective. You gain invaluable insights about a client’s priorities when you work alongside them under pressure.
I’m an electronics engineer with a MBA degree, 16 years of customer service experience, and 11 years of growth at HP.
