What I can do for you
My role is to look at your business challenges and identify and build a team of professionals who will design and deliver the right IT solution. Throughout the process, I’ll continue to be your advocate, keeping you informed about the process and involving you in decision-making as your project proceeds.
I bring together key stakeholders from your team and HP, and together we can identify your IT needs based on your business challenges. Then we can design the best solution to address those challenges while ensuring optimum performance, operational excellence and improved return on your investment.
Who I am
As a Market Development Manager, I meet customers on a regular basis, providing information to support and qualify their business opportunities.
In the many roles I have played during my HP career, I have learned to identify my customers’ needs by listening, looking closely at their challenges, and consulting with experts to build the appropriate HP solution for the customer. During my tenure here I have had numerous opportunities to learn more about IT and evolving technologies; I developed a strong HP network that encompasses multiple technologies, such as hardware, software and services capabilities to address our customers’ needs. I also learned how to work with each customer to evaluate financial models to determine implications and outcomes of their technology investments.
What I have learned
In the many roles I’ve performed in HP during my 12-year tenure, I have learned to listen to my customers. I need to hear what their challenges are, and consider both business and IT requirements as a whole. This broad understanding of all aspects of their business helps me build a viable and cost-effective HP solution.
During this time I have also broadened my understanding of the worId of IT. I better understand the leadership role that HP’s technology and capabilities play in this world – and how I can leverage both to address our customers’ needs. Additionally, I have gained experience in evaluating financial models and can help my customers really know the implications and anticipated results from their investments in HP solutions. I am proud to say that I have grown, too, as a virtual team leader who can confidently bring together round-tables of customers and the right HP stakeholders to create the best solutions for our customers. I call this my Orchestra Director role, and it has enabled me to develop better program and business management skills.
Perhaps most importantly, I have learned and live the standards of The HP Way: the unwavering commitment to ethics, innovation and customer success that is such a great asset in all of our dealings with customers.
I have a strong professional foundation in Sales, Business Development and Business Management. Prior to working at HP, I was a Key Account Manager at Vodafone and a Marketing and Business Development manager at Navteq (known today as Nokia Group, leader in digital navigable maps).
