Who I am
Lately I’ve been helping our clients plan for cloud computing infrastructure—making it a business reality from the ground up.
What I have learned
To make major changes in an enterprise, there has to be a catalyst. IT transformation strategies and next-generation computing designs greatly benefit from an external change agent acting as that catalyst. In my experience, clients who retain solid consulting assistance go live one to two years faster than those who don’t.
My background
I have over 30 years of experience identifying and leveraging emerging technologies and convergence techniques to directly impact business outcomes. That experience is rooted in first-hand knowledge of running a business (I owned one for 17 years) and in gaining early adoption of forward-looking technology. Examples include getting companies to use computer telephony and converged telecommunications—what’s now called unified communications—in the mid-1980s.
