Who I am
I spend a great deal of time helping people understand how business and IT can be better aligned and how IT can help mitigate risks. In the former capacity, I assist clients with identifying priorities and better positioning products, people, processes, and partners. In the latter, I work to understand a company’s vital business functions, pinpoint potential risks to them, and then determine the measures we need to take to prevent problems—as well as ensure rapid recovery in the face of a disaster.
What I have learned
Everything starts with understanding a client’s goals and priorities. Most of the time, this means taking time to talk with them and getting a clear gauge of what they hope to achieve. When you know what a client truly wants, then you can develop an answer and a solution that delivers measurable business value.
I’ve been with HP for more than 17 years, including time as a Response Center Engineer, Account Support Manager, and now as a Business Critical Consultant (BCC). My current role includes leading the BCC vTeam in Germany and coleading our team for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. My certifications include IT Service Manager (ITILv2), ITIL Expert (ITILv3), CompTIA Security+, and ISO 20000 consultant.
