From August 1, 2014, Office 365 plans E1, E3, E4 and Office 365 Pro Plus purchased for users with no qualifying perpetual licenses with Software Assurance (SA) have increased in price between 9.6% and 16%, depending on the product. This increase impacted both new Office Agreements, and orders for new Office 365 users under existing agreements.
Do you own fully paid perpetual licenses with active Software Assurance (SA) in your Enterprise Agreement (EA)?
At the same time, customers with active SA on fully paid perpetual licenses enjoy more competitive pricing on Office 365 Enterprise Plans E1, E3, E4, Office 365 Pro Plus and equivalent subscriptions for Government.
This special pricing is a reward for customers for transitioning to Online Services from On-premise, and to recognise your previous investment in on-premise licenses.
As a result of the price change, the new “from SA” Office 364 parts are between 15.5% and 17.5% less expensive than the “regular” Office 365 parts, depending on the product.
The following transitions will qualify for special pricing:
- Office Professional Plus with SA, transition to Office 365 Professional Plus
- Core CAL with SA, transition to Office 365 Enterprise E1
- Office Professional Plus with SA + CoreCAL or ECAL with SA, transition to Office 365 Enterprise E3 or E4.
Are you an EA Subscription customer?
EA Subscription customers who have maintained their company-wide commitment for a minimum of three years are also eligible for the transition benefit.
