Seeding success through social innovation

HP has a long history of supporting education, and we have reached thousands of schools in more than 40 countries through past programs. Many of our efforts have focused on helping teachers integrate technology into their classrooms, and have provided students with new ways to explore and learn through technology.
While our approach and programs have evolved, we believe technology is key to effective education, particularly in science, technology, engineering, and math. When woven into the teaching and learning experience, technology enriches skills and accelerates progress, preparing students for success in the competitive information economy.

That's why we've invested in teacher training programs on how to effectively use technology in the classroom, widen student access to mobile technologies, and promote creative thinking for using technology to improve the learning experience.
Here are a few of our past programs in education:

Technology for Teaching
This program recognized schools and teachers transforming education through innovative uses of mobile technology. HP awarded nearly $60 million in grants from 2004 to 2008, benefitting more than 1,000 educational institutions in 41 countries. Click here to learn more.
