Setting our sights on improving health and wellness

In developing and developed countries alike, millions go without basic health services. To tackle that challenge, we're collaborating with top organizations to improve the backbone of health services in regions around the world.

We're working closely with governments, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and other pace-setting institutions to fundamentally improve health systems around the world. For example, we're using technology to drastically increase how quickly medical staff receive test results, so patients get vital treatment in time.

And we're helping organizations create online databases where they can input and store medical records electronically. The result? Better accuracy and access. Eliminating hand transcription reduces errors. Putting information online gives providers the information they need immediately from handheld devices they can use anywhere, even in remote rural areas. Plus, governments can use the collected data to help track the spread of serious diseases and assess where help is needed most.

What's more, HP is partnering with leading health organizations to replicate and scale successful programs in a sustainable way.
