Enhancing how customers live and work

Our portfolio of products and solutions enhances how customers live and work while helping them reduce their environmental impact. On average, HP products are 50 percent more energy efficient than they were in 2005.1

HP products are designed to use less power and create less waste by making it easier to recycle and dispose of hardware and print supplies. We continually work to improve energy efficiency, helping customers get greater performance with a lower environmental impact.

HP collaborates to advance product standards across the industry:

  • We contributed to the development of the EPEAT® standard for imaging and printing products with other technology stakeholders and the Green Electronics Council.
  • We worked with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy, and other stakeholders to revise the ENERGY STAR® standard for both printers and computer servers, and to develop a new ENERGY STAR standard for data center storage.
We help companies revolutionize how they operate and build sustainable—and successful—businesses.

We use our technology and expertise to help customers gain insights that drive better decision making and create more sustainable processes and behaviors. This helps customers set and implement company power policies, identify areas for improvement, and dynamically reallocate energy and other resources based on real-time demand.

By building products that help people achieve more while consuming less, we open up opportunities for them to expand innovation.
