HP Enhances Just Right IT Partner Program to Accelerate Time to Revenue

NetworkIT and Simply StoreIT programs simplify technology selection for SMB customers

HP today announced enhancements to its Just Right IT program to help HP channel partners accelerate time-to-revenue by simplifying design and delivery of HP networking, server and storage solutions for small and midsized businesses (SMBs).

SMBs need to adopt mobility and virtualization to improve employee productivity and ensure business continuity. However, these technologies can be complex, exposing IT skill gaps in smaller organizations. As a result, many SMBs turn to value-added resellers for advice and implementation assistance to bridge those gaps. Concurrently, resellers need to rapidly identify and address customer needs with products and solutions that fit within customers’ limited IT budget and staff capabilities.

The HP Just Right IT program enables resellers to deliver the right IT solution at the right time. Key components of the program are HP NetworkIT and HP Simply StoreIT which enable resellers to rapidly deliver HP networking and storage solutions, based on customer size and stage of a customer’s IT development, accelerating time-to-revenue and return on investment (ROI) for SMB customers.

“Whether customers are just starting out, building momentum or expanding their business, they need a partner capable of quickly designing and deploying the right solution to meet their IT priorities,” said Derek Kuhr, practice manager, Heartland Technology Solutions, an HP channel partner. “HP’s Just Right IT program is designed to dramatically speed solution configuration, delivery and time-to-revenue while enabling our SMB customers to more quickly generate return on investment”

HP NetworkIT improves operational efficiencies for partners, mobile-centric SMBs

Limited IT resources impede employee productivity and delivery of quality customer service, as well as inhibit the use of network technology that can reduce costs.

The HP NetworkIT program is tailored to meet the basic connectivity requirements of small businesses, as well as the complex needs of midsize organizations building mobile-centric businesses.

For partners, the HP NetworkIT program provides solution guides and blueprints that accelerate product delivery. These assets target specific challenges in critical areas such as business-grade wireless networks, unified communications and collaboration, and secure, unified access and infrastructure. The program offers tools including cobranded lead-generation assets, training, guides and materials to increase sales opportunities. The program also provides resources and incentives that accelerate time to revenue with HP Networking solutions.

The first offering is the HP Wireless Network Solution, which provides simple, reliable and affordable wired and wireless networking for SMBs. Key customer benefits include:

  • Simplified management with HP Intelligent Management Center (IMC), a standards-based single-pane-of-glass management system supporting more than 6,000 devices from more than 220 vendors,(1) eliminating up to 67 percent of management tools.
  • Affordable to own with the HP Lifetime Warranty 2.0, which provides 24/7 phone support for three years, eliminates hidden costs, lowers upfront and ongoing support expenses and reduces investment in additional add-on service enhancements.
  • Reliable to operate delivering up to 400 percent improved stack failover time to keep business up and running.(2)

HP Simply StoreIT helps resellers and customers be effective in a data-centric world

HP Simply StoreIT helps resellers reduce the time required to sell and design optimized solutions that meet current and future customer needs. The program offers training and sales tools to market and implement industry-leading innovations such as the recently enhanced HP MSA 2040 Storage disk array.

Program enhancements help increase channel partner compensation and shorten time-to-revenue with:

Templates that reduce configuration time by 89 percent through the elimination of errors and speeding the process of designing complete solutions.

Visual aid reference configuration and solution-block blueprints that articulate technologies appropriate for every stage of a customer’s growth.

Concise technical briefs detailing scenarios that map powerful IT and business benefits to each customer’s specific needs within budget.

Delivering simple, scalable IT solutions with enhanced security features for SMBs

New components of the HP Just Right IT program also include HP Small Business Solutions and HP Secure Access and Continuity Solutions.

HP Small Business Solutions are simple, cost-effective networking, server and storage bundles that support essential IT and business functions, such as email, file, print, networking access and backup.

The new HP Secure Access and Continuity Solutions offer SMBs’ built-in security and continuity features that ensure around-the-clock access to data, allowing staff to focus on business priorities. Key customer benefits include:

Reduced administrative time for managing rapid data growth with easy-to-use backup and recovery solutions optimized for virtualization.

Minimized business risk of mobility initiatives and BYOD (bring your own device) with advanced security and management solutions for mobile users and devices.

Improved remote office efficiency for with centralized administrative tools, bandwidth optimization, and effective data protection.
