HP Celebrates Anniversary with Future Powered by Reinvention Event and Announces Plans for 2018 Megatrends Research

IDEO, Wisdom VC, SoundHound and other thought leaders discuss how technology is shaping the future and reinventing how we create, protect and explore

PALO ALTO, Calif. – November 2, 2017 – Today, HP Inc. (NYSE: HPQ) celebrates its second anniversary by hosting leaders from Silicon Valley’s technology, business and academic communities to discuss what society needs today while focusing on what's next to identify, create and develop novel experiences for tomorrow.

With breakthroughs from HP’s Labs now taking shape in Virtual and Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, 3D Printing and digital manufacturing, HP is reimagining new possibilities in the way people design and create, secure and protect, sustain and explore.

The Future Powered by Reinvention

HP’s Future Powered by Reinvention will be held in Palo Alto, offering a tour of HP’s Labs and an experiential 360 4K dome showcasing how technology powers expeditions for the benefit of life on earth and in orbit. Highlights include:

  • HP announces new initiative with NASA, showcasing the power of print innovation on earth and in orbit.
  • HP's CTO Shane Wall and R&D for NASA Ron Stephens discuss zero gravity workflow excellence.
  • Thought leadership panel on the role of innovation in shaping our experiences today and tomorrow.
  • Intent to publish new megatrends research in early 2018. 

The panel, moderated by Fast Company, will highlight important technologies influencing the human experience today – and which ones will be most important the next 5-10 years - translating technology into everyday life.
