What did you get out of MAP?
MAP has truly given me a global experience through experiential learning opportunities. In my short time in the program, I have traveled to Singapore implementing and overseeing strategic compensation initiatives in APJ, have traveled to Barcelona engaging in employee relations negotiations in EMEA, and am now in the United Kingdom for my international rotation. The knowledge I have gained through MAP allows me to be a much more strategic and global thought-leader and makes me a well-rounded HR professional.
What has MAP done for your career?
The MAP program has given me direct access and exposure to our HR Leadership team. Because of the program, I am connected with members of our leadership team regularly, and am able to reach out to each of them for advice and mentorship. This type of access exposes me to a higher level of thinking and helps me understand our business from a very different and strategic perspective.
What makes MAP unique?
The international rotation opportunity is what makes MAP unique and one of the best rotational programs out there. Being able to live abroad and see first-hand the challenges our international counterparts face is not only eye-opening, but it helps you gain a better understanding of how we can implement changes back in the United States that will provide the right balance for the business globally.
