HP Certifies First Netherlands-based Partners to Help Enterprises Migrate to Cloud

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- HP today announced Centric and Eshgro as the first HP CloudAgile Program partners certified to bring the benefits of cloud computing to customers in the Netherlands.

Together with HP, Centric and Eshgro are delivering secure, unified cloud solutions based on HP CloudSystem to help enterprises gain agility, speed and flexibility. Through the new
HP CloudAgile Program
, Centric and Eshgro have transformed their business models to offer a future-ready platform that helps companies accelerate their migration to the cloud.

Rather than build and maintain their own data centers, organizations are increasingly entrusting operations to service providers like Centric and Eshgro. This enables organizations to provide customers with technology resources to help them meet security, compliance and other regional requirements for cloud computing in their local markets.

Centric and Eshgro each offer a comprehensive program that spans testing, development resources and pay-as-you-grow financing. Plus, as members of the HP CloudAgile Program, they have direct access to HP’s sales force in the Netherlands to extend their sales reach. The program, with built-in incentives such as go-to-market support, financing incentives and training, lets them expand their portfolio of service offerings and accelerate time to market.

The HP CloudAgile Program includes certified partners that deliver cloud services, as well as service providers, service hosts, systems integrators and value-added resellers.

Certified partners help customers reduce costs, increase efficiency
Eshgro is a leading Dutch provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. Through the HP CloudAgile Program it can now offer its customers working in food, beverage, manufacturing and professional services an integrated IT architecture with broad application support that is easier to manage.

“Agile companies understand that IT is the core of their business,” said Anton Loeffen, chief operating officer, Eshgro. “Through the HP CloudAgile Program, Eshgro offers these companies fast, flexible IT operations with a pay-per-use model. HP’s agile, easily managed cloud computing solutions enable us to run more than 500 industry-specific applications while offering companies reliability, speed and significant cost savings.”

Centric helps companies improve operations, offering software, IT infrastructure and market-specific application solutions to government, financial services, retail and housing corporation clients.

“We were looking for a future-ready platform that could deliver unparalleled efficiencies to clients requiring continuous connectivity and cost advantages to their business,” said Hans Hengst, alliance manager, Centric. “Our company is committed to helping companies transform their operations with HP CloudSystem, whether it is a logistics system that increases efficiency or a system able to securely transfer patient data from an ambulance while in transit to a medical facility.”

With HP CloudSystem, enterprises can automatically provision new services in minutes, expediting time to revenue. Resources can be correctly allocated to ensure efficiency in performance, governance and compliance requirements.

HP CloudSystem is a key component of the Instant-On Enterprise. In a world of continuous connectivity, the Instant-On Enterprise embeds technology in everything it does to serve customers, employees, partners and citizens with everything they need, instantly.

HP’s premier client event, HP Discover, takes place June 4-7 in Las Vegas.
