Do you need to isolate your workloads on a server into separate partitions without physically modifying the hardware configuration? HP nPartitions (nPars) feature hard partition technology that enables you to configure a single server complex as one large server or as multiple, smaller servers. Each nPar includes one or more cells (containing processors and memory) that are assigned to the partition for its exclusive use.

Also, each nPar hosts its own operation system instance, applications and users with reboots and most hardware upgrades requiring only the affected nPartition(s) to be brought down.
