Performance and Consolidation with HPE’s Linux Mission Critical Software (ATX and SRO)

Scott Norton, Master Technologist, Hewlett Packard Enterprise
Wednesday, Jun 29, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Session ID: 88844, Room #3005

HPE Application Tuner Express (ATX) Utility is a launch policy controller that facilitates scaling up applications for 4-socket and larger NUMA servers. It makes non-NUMA applications more NUMA aware. The product’s primary objective is increasing performance for multi-process and multi-threaded applications. Database performance improvements of up to +58% have been seen on large servers. This product is targeted for use on Integrity Superdome X and 4-socket ProLiant servers.

HPE System Resource Orchestrator (SRO) is a policy based Linux workload manager guaranteeing system resources (CPU, memory, I/O) are available in the right amount at the right time, enabling consolidation of mission critical applications on a single system.
