What You Can Do

From your iOS device:
  • The HP iPrint Photo application is available free from the App Store, which is easily accessible from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

From your computer:
  • You can download HP iPrint Photo from the App Store, accessible via iTunes, directly to your computer, then manually sync to your iOS device. In order to install HP iPrint Photo to your device via a computer, the Apple iTunes application must be installed and in use, and your iOS device firmware must be version or higher.

How to Use HP iPrint Photo

  • 1. Click on the HP iPrint Photo icon.
  • 2. Press the camera icon to snap a photo or choose an album to use an existing photo.
  • 3. Select the photo then tap it to edit or skip to step 5 to print now!
  • 4. Pinch and drag to zoom. Drag/rotate to rotate. Tap photo to continue.
  • 5. Set desired printer settings, select Done and Print now!
  • 6. NEW: File Sharing.
    Select Saved Files then select Sharing to go to Share Settings.
    Turn on File Sharing and select Done.
    Now File Sharing is activated.
  • 7. Sharing a File:

    a) Write down the url
    (e.g. http://192.168.94:8081),
    shown in the Saved File screen

    b) On your PC or Mac, map the above url as a Network Drive;

    c) Then copy files and folders to the Network Drive.
  • 8. NEW: Scanning:

    a) After selecting Scanner, select the Preview to view a photo or document for scanning

    b) Resize your scan area and select Settings

    c) Select Scan to start
  • 9. View your scanned result. Select Save to save as an image or document on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.
  • 10. Select Print to print the scanned result.
  • 11. NEW: Print Attachment.

    Open email message with PDF attachment.
    Touch and hold the PDF icon. Select Open In,
    then select
    HP iPrint Photo.
  • 12. Select Print to print the PDF.
Supported Networks

  • HP iPrint Photo leverages Apple's Bonjour technology to automatically identify HP wireless printers or other supported HP printers available on your network. HP iPrint Photo supports industry standard WiFi environments (including Apple Airport, Linksys, D-Link, Netgear...).
