What I Do for HP
I am a solutions expert in Quality and Testing and Applications Lifecycle Management. Throughout my career, initially as a as a project manager and today as a test manager and practice lead for businesses, projects and programs, I endeavor to ensure quality and save the unnecessary costs of fixing problems later in the lifecycle. Building quality into everything we do will, ultimately, provide the savings across the board that all industries (including IT) crave.
My Approach
I bring a pragmatic and realistic approach to testing and development. That means, ensuring that Business and IT leadership know what they’re getting up front, and making sure there are no surprises whilst adhering to budget and scheduling expectations.
My Background
In a career that spans 35 years, I have accumulated extensive experience across a range of organizations and industries—including financial, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing, and transport. I first qualified in EDP and COBOL programming in the mid ‘70s, and since that time have gained a relatively lengthy list of certifications across a very broad spectrum of industries, solutions and disciplines, including Project Management and Quality Auditing. This diversity of experience has ensured that I can utilise a broad range of perspectives when providing solutions for Quality & Testing and Applications Lifecycle Management.
