HP CloudSystem Matrix is built on HP Converged Infrastructure technologies, such as HP BladeSystem and Matrix Operating Environment and is optimized for HP ProLiant and HP Integrity servers as well as HP storage and HP networking. We also support 3rd party x86 servers, networking and storage. We support the following operating systems: Windows, Linux and HP-UX. Supported hypervisors include VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Integrity VMs. Red Hat KVM will be supported with the next release in CYQ1 2013.
CloudSystem Matrix is available in small, medium or large configurations. The configurations can be expanded with additional hardware and software from HP or third parties.
