What type of support will I receive from the Technical Support Agent?
Technical Support Agents will support you with troubleshooting. He/she will determine whether there is a Software or hardware problem on your device. He/she will assist you to solve Software problems. For hardware problems, requiring repair, you will be directed to the receptions of the Regional Repair Center(s) or the agent will arrange the pick-up/initiate the repair him/herself (under specific circumstances).

What if I’m not based in, or close to, one of the above locations?
Customers in Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and other areas in South Africa not serviced by an Ensure bench or drop point location should visit www.hp.com/support or contact the HP Contact Centre on 0860 104 771. Customers will be offered alternative service delivery options that will be most convenient for them.
My HP product is defective. How do I log a call with Ensure?
Customers simply need to deliver their defective unit to an Ensure location that is located close to them. In the event of there not being an Ensure bench or drop point located close by, customers should call the HP Contact Centre on 0860 104 771 for other, more convenient options.
When is the best time to log a service call?
The call centre experiences high call volumes weekdays between 11h00 and 14h00, while the Johannesburg branch experiences high walk-in traffic volumes on Tuesdays.
What is the process for submitting my defective product?
Ensure that you have logged your call with the correct Ensure branch. You should use the following checklist:
- Provide a copy of your proof of purchase. Failure to do so will result in a delay in the repair process.
- Remove all accessories, e.g. cartridges, power supplies, CDs, control panels and back covers.
- Ensure that you have made back-ups/recovery disks of your data.
