Data wipe

Data wipe is provided through any of these service options: HP Degaussing Service, HP Data Sanitization Service and HP Shredding Service. 

Degaussing service uses an electromagnetic pulse to erase all information on data storage device. With Data Sanitization, sensitive data on your storage media will be cleansed using industry-standard software, and the Shredding service will dismantle, drill or shred your media so it cannot be reused. Data wipe is part of HP Device Recovery Service.

Recycling

Your devices are recycled either by repurposing, harvesting for spare parts, or disposed in an environmentally responsible manner. HP will handle all details of recycling your retired hardware assets safely and securely, including providing you with appropriate documentation for your records. Recycling service is done on devices that cannot be reused. Recycling is part of HP Device Recovery Service.

• Data Wipe: All evidence of customer identification is removed and data wiped clean from storage media.
