HPE Improve Ease of Doing Business for EMEA Channel Partners with New Business Opportunity Discount and Price Protection
LONDON, 6 July, 2016 -Today, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) announced the launchof an enhanced Enterprise Group Deal Registration and PriceProtection program to be rolled out to HPE partners acrossEMEA.
The new HPE Deal Registration Program protects and rewards the timeinvestment of partner sales and presales when additional effort isrequired to find and secure a new customer deal. When selling intonew customer accounts HPE partners will now benefit from both anupfront discount through New Business Opportunity (NBO) and dealprotection via Preferential Pricing (PP).
The Key Enhancements
• Harmonization of New Business Opportunity (NBO) rates forsimplification empowering partners to pursue new business
• Preferential Pricing provides security for all HPE EG specializedpartners, who are protected for their presales time investmentswhen hunting for new business opportunities
• Preferential pricing granted for new customer opportunities andvalid for an extendable 6 month time period (on top of NBOcompensation) for all HPE partners

With this launch, HPE has re-designed the end-to-end quoting anddeal registration process with the goal to further accelerate jointgrowth with our partners. “Our partners told us that they wantincreased protection, simplicity and predictability when pursingnew business opportunities with HPE. The combination of the NewBusiness Opportunity discount coupled with the newly introduceddeal protection through preferential pricing, as well as furthersimplified program rules will result in expanded benefits forpartners, improved predictability and a faster and more transparentapproval process” stated Nick Brown, Vice President of ChannelPartners, Enterprise Group EMEA, HPE.
An HPE Gold Server and Gold Storage Specialist Partner in Spain,Sphera TI, were part of an early roll out scheme. “The newprograms are already having a positive impact and we are seeinggreat benefits specifically from the 6 month price protection”stated Benito Yepes, General Manager Sphera.
NBO is available for Silver, Gold and Platinum EG Partners in EMEA.PP is open to all HPE EG Partner Ready Specialists in EMEA,inclusive of Business Partners, as well as those with Silver, Goldand Platinum status.
The roll out will see initial deployment in UK&I, France, GWE,Iberia and Italy whilst Germany and MEMA will be included as of11th and 25th of July 2016 respectively.
