Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

"Eligible Product" means a new and original HP product originating from the Promoter, coded with the following;

"End User" is a Participant who purchases an eligible product for his, her or its own personal use in New Zealand, and not for resale or re-supply or export.

"Participant" means a resident of, or business trading in, New Zealand who purchases an Eligible Product from a Participating HP Reseller or the HP Online Store in New Zealand during the Promotional Period and is the End User of that Eligible Product. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, resellers of HP products and any agencies associated with this Promotion their employees and those employees' immediate families are ineligible to participate.

"Participating HP Reseller" means any authorized New Zealand HP reseller who has agreed to participate in this promotion.

"Promoter" means HP New Zealand (Company Number 5571925) of HP House, 22 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Maritime Square, Auckland, New Zealand 1001.

"Promotional Period" commences at 09.00AM (NZST) on 01 November 2014 and ends at 11.59PM (NZST) on 31st October 2019 ("Promotional Period"). All entries must be received by 5pm (NZST) 30 November 2019. Participant(s) will forfeit claims not made by this date.

2. Information on how to enter and Promotion details form part of these terms and conditions.

3. This Promotion is not available with any other offer, excluding HP cash back offers. The Promoter reserves the right to reduce the refund amount by any cash back claim already made on the Eligible Product as determined by the tax invoice.

4. To enter this Promotion the Participant must: (a) within the Promotional Period, purchase in New Zealand from a Participating HP Reseller, HP Direct fulfilled or from the HP Online Store, a new and original Eligible Product; (b) be the end user of that Eligible Product; (c) within the time period stipulated in table below, register for a refund online and provide the following correct details in the online Promotion entry form: end user (customer) first name, end user (customer) last name, Eligible Product Part Number, Eligible Product Serial Number, and submit a copy of the corresponding tax invoice for the sales of Eligible Products; and the supporting tax invoice to the Promotion website at www.hp.co.nz/moneyback as a PDF, JPG or other supported file type using the document upload facility that will be provided at the website;
The corresponding tax invoice submitted must contain the following:
i) end user (customer) name
ii) end user (customer) contact number
iii) Participating Partner company name
iv) Participating Partner company Business Number
v) sale purchase date
vi) sale purchase price
vii) list of Eligible Products sold
viii) invoice number
The Participant must correctly and fully complete an official online claim form at:
www.hp.co.nz/moneyback with all required information by 5PM NZST 30 November 2019. Hand written tax invoices and delivery dockets will not be accepted as proof of purchase. Any claim form submitted without the required proof of purchase documentation will be rejected
The Promoter will arrange for a courier to pick up the Eligible Product. Once validated, the Promoter will refund the Participant in full for the total purchase price of the Eligible Product paid by the Participant (less any discounts or other savings).

5. The Money Back offer excludes HP ink cartridges, extended warranties, additional paper trays, HP Carepacks or any other printer accessories. HP will not refund the purchase price of excluded products that are purchased in conjunction with the printer.

6. The Eligible Product can only be picked up from the Participant's home or business address.

7. The payments will be made by electronic bank transfer within 75 days after receipt of the return product at the Promoter's warehouse.

8. A maximum of (3) three products per Participant can be returned.

9. All required information must be supplied online, including ABN, serial number, scanned copy of proof of purchase and scanned copy of bar code from the product box.

10. The returned Eligible Product must be in a saleable condition, undamaged and must include all original packaging and accessories (including ink cartridges, other detachable parts, manuals, network adapter, CDs, cables, etc.).

11.The Promoter reserves the right to modify or extend the closing date and criteria of the Promotion at its discretion.

12. Entry is only open to Participants. Employees of the Promoter, participating agents and their agencies associated with this Promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant or person tampering with the entry process or any entrant who does not meet the eligibility requirements or does not comply with these terms and conditions.

13. The Promoter will accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail. Further, to the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any unauthorized intervention, or any combination thereof, including any non-delivery or corruption of entries to the Promoter, injury or damage to Participants' or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in respect of this Promotion. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows a Participant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Participant invalid. If the Promoter has not entered into any correspondence with the Participant prior to the last mail date of the Promotion, it is the responsibility of the Participant to contact the Promoter to ensure their claim has been received and/or has been verified.

14. Entries will be deemed invalid if the same tax invoice number is used on more than one entry.

15. Claims are not transferable or assignable. Only the Participant who purchased an Eligible Product may submit a claim.

16. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for misleading or incorrect information provided by a reseller regarding this Promotion.

17. The Promoter's decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions. No correspondence will be entered into after 6 weeks of closing date of this Promotion.

18. Liability for any tax on any refunds awarded to a Participant pursuant to this Promotion shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant. It is recommended that Participants contact their own accountant or taxation advisor in this regard.

19. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect, consequential or economic loss), or for a personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participation in this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

20. The Promoter will use the information contained in the Promotion entry form to contact Participants if it has any queries regarding claims.

21. All claims become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects your personal details in order to conduct this Promotion, and may pass that information to its related bodies corporate and agencies assisting with the Promotion, which may be outside New Zealand. If the information requested is not provided, you may not participate in this Promotion. The will use the information contained in the entry form to contact you if it has any queries regarding claims, and to send prizes. If you give your consent HP may contact you from time to time with information about special offers and products and services that may interest you, but you may unsubscribe later if you no longer wish to receive further marketing information. 22. The laws of New Zealand apply to the Promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
