SG: I have a consistent and reliable color workflow across all devices now, which was really difficult to find before.

What is the next thing you want to learn or experiment with on your Z? 
SG: I'm excited to start diving into real-time rendering and simulating – and seeing how far we can push the hardware. 

What helps push your work further? 
SG: I'm always motivated by new technologies and how to use them for artistic purposes. 

What is your favorite Z feature? 
SG: I like the tablet feature on the X2 for digital sculpting and texturing, as I get to use the full applications and not a watered-down tablet version.

What can you now do on a Z that you couldn't do before?
AT: I can render faster than ever. There’s no more designing in the dark. My creative flow has gotten faster and smoother.

What is the next thing you want to learn or experiment with on your Z?
AT: I'd like to start adding animation into my body of work and make my images move.

What helps push your work further?
AT: Discovering something new. The unknown is the most powerful goal.

What is your favorite Z feature?
AT: Its stability and speed.

Who is someone that inspires you and why?
AT: I'm inspired by so many people. To name a few: Felipe Pantone, for living and working at the speed of the future. Carlos Cruz Diez, for creating the most mesmerizing kinetic work. Jonathan Zawada, for being the most multi-talented artist. Milton Glasser, for being an example of creative freedom and wisdom.

What can you now do on a Z that you couldn't do before?
RO: Rendering is so much faster, so I’m able to knock out way more work in the same amount of time. It also makes it possible for me to dive into animation again.

What is the next thing you want to learn or experiment with on your Z?
RO: Continue doing more animation work. A frame took ages to render with GI on my old machine. It’s like six times faster now. Back in the days, I needed to render for one or two nights to complete something. Now I can do it in an hour or two. And I have the ability to test out new, intensive things that deal with 3D software way quicker.

What helps push your work further?
RO: I think I always try to improve myself as a human being and as an artist at the same time. Things are never perfect, but we can always aim to be. The more complete you are, the more freedom you have to express yourself as an artist.

What is your favorite Z feature?
RO: Its capability to render on a GPU. That changed my world actually. Rendering is so much faster now.

Who is someone that inspires you and why?
RO: Hard one. I respect people who keep doing their own thing instead of following the footsteps of others. So many people and artists are following trends now. It’s a big thing, especially in the online community. People strive for likes and love and forget about their own roots or passion. From a creative point of view there are always people I look up to, because they do stuff I wouldn’t even know how to do. There are tons of them out there.

What can you do on Z that you couldn’t do before?
I’m using the Z to create very computationally intensive dynamics simulations that I wasn’t able to do before – it’s very liberating.

What is the next thing you want to learn or experiment with Z?
Large Format Printing, 3D Printing, and continuing to experiment with Simulation Art.

What helps push your work further?
Having no fear to be uncomfortable and embracing the desire to be constantly learning, constantly growing as a creative.
