What is the Experience HP Prime Program?

The Experience HP Prime Program provides calculators and wireless technology to teachers who are incorporating HP technology into their curriculum, but wish to evaluate the products before purchasing. The Program also supports teacher professional development events, workshops, in-service events, and conference sessions.
  •

How do I request an Experience HP Prime kit?

You must meet the requirements for requesting a loan and review and accept the program Guidelines and Terms and Conditions. Requests can be made by completing an online Experience HP Prime Loan Request Form (“Request form for US Educators”). Currently, the program is only available in the United States.

The requested equipment is shipped at no cost to you with prepaid shipping labels to return the equipment when your evaluation period is over.

The equipment may only be used by teachers for evaluations or for professional development events where the attendees of the event are in-service or pre-service teachers.

  •

How soon before my event/evaluation can I submit my request?

You can submit your request for an Experience HP Prime kit up to 45 days in advance. Requests made less than 15 days in advance may not be fulfilled due to other prior requests.
  •

I submitted my request, now what should I expect?

You will be notified within 2 business days via e-mail that your request is approved. The confirmation email will include a Confirmation number, a list of the requested equipment with quantities and the arrival dates of the shipment to the requestor.
  •

How long can I use the Experience HP Prime Kit?

Experience HP Prime Kits can be used for two weeks from the shipment arrival date. Kits need to be shipped back at the end of the two week time period via the prepaid mailers that come with the kit. Kits returned late will disqualify the requestor from future participation in the program.
  •

Can I request to keep the product more than two weeks?

Limiting the duration to two weeks allows other teachers the opportunity to use the Experience HP Prime kit at other events and training sessions. However, if you are an educator holding workshops or presentations and wish to request a loaner kit for various different events you may apply to this program to borrow a new kit each time.
  •

How are the calculators and wireless kit shipped back to HP?

Each kit includes a preprinted/prepaid shipping label specific to that kit for the return shipment. Simply remove the old shipping label and attach the return shipping labels to the outside of the container.
  •

Are the Experience HP Prime kits for sale?

Experience HP Prime Kits are for loan only, however, HP Prime Calculators and HP Wireless Kits are available for sale. Contact the program coordinator at calculators@hp.com for purchasing information.

If a calculator or wireless kit is lost or stolen what should I do?

Please contact the Experience HP Prime kit team as soon as possible at calculators@hp.com.
  •

    How do I report a damaged/defective kit?

Please contact the Experience HP Prime Program team immediately (calculators@hp.com) to report damaged products. Note if the equipment was damaged in shipment or defective. The program coordinator will take the necessary steps based on how the equipment was damaged or broken. Does HP offer any calculator emulators for use on PC’s?

Yes, HP offers free emulators to educators for HP Prime and other HP calculators.
