Glibc "GHOST" Vulnerability – CVE-2015-0235


On January 27, 2015, a buffer overflow vulnerability in GNU C library (glibc) was publicly disclosed. The flaw was discovered in the gethostbyname set of functions of the GNU C library (glibc) and could be used to execute arbitrary code.
