AMD and HP Generate More Than $2 Million for the Lance Armstrong Foundation

HP Special Edition L2000 Notebook PC, powered by AMD Turion™ 64mobile technology. Thanks to the tremendous success of thisinitiative, availability of this one-of-a-kind notebook will beextended through June 2006.

Available since June oflast year, the HP Special Edition L2000 Notebook PC bears theLIVESTRONG™ message and a reproduction of LanceArmstrong's autograph. For each HP Special Edition L2000 NotebookPC shipped to date, the LAF has received $50 from AMD and HP.

AMD has made a two-yearcommitment to help generate a minimum of $4 million for the LAF. Asan ongoing part of this support for the LAF and its mission, AMDwas the Official Technology Partner of the 2005LIVESTRONG Ride in Portland, Oregon and the 2005Ride for the Roses Weekend in Austin, Texas.
