HP Offers Enhanced Version of Its Most Popular Financial Calculator

HP 12c Platinum Financial Calculator Builds on 22-year Success Story

HP (NYSE:HPQ) today introduced the HP 12c Platinum financial calculator -- the latest addition in its line of financial calculators -- offering customers more memory and built-in functions.

The HP 12c Platinum is an enhanced version of the HP 12c financial calculator, which has sold in the millions to investors, real estate professionals, accountants, loan officers, business students and teachers over the past 22 years.

Compared to the classic HP 12c, the Platinum has more memory (allowing for increased number of keystroke programming steps), more built-in functions and includes the option of standard algebraic mode as well as HP's famous Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) mode, which has been a favorite of many professionals because of its efficiency.

It is planned to be available at retailers in Europe and Asia Pacific by the end of June. The suggested retail price of the calculator is $104.99.(1) HP continues to offer the classic HP 12c at a suggested retail price of $94.95(1).
