The server delivers long-lasting value with easy in-box upgrade paths to future PA-RISC and Intel® Itanium™ Processor Family technologies. In addition, customers enjoy further investment protection with interchangeable components with the 16-wayHPServer rp8400 and the availability ofHP's innovative trade-up and trade-in programs to migrate existingHPand competitor servers to the rp7410.

Customers also can useHP's comprehensive services portfolio, including consulting, deployment, education and support, to address all phases of their IT infrastructure environment. New rp7410 customers and customers upgrading from theHPServer rp7400 also can receive three months of support free with the purchase of a three-year contract.

The rp7410's 10U size allows four servers to fit into a standard two-meter rack. This packs performance into every square meter of valuable data center space to provide optimal operational efficiency. As a result, the rp7410 server has the some of the industry's lowest operational costs.
