Intel® Xeon® Silver processors have up to 12 cores per processor, and up to 1.5 TB memory for essential performance, memory speed, and power efficiency.
Arm professionals with the compute performance and hardware-based acceleration needed for a wide range of software applications and low-latency, high-throughput access to storage and networking.
Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors support the Intel® vPro™ platform[1,2,3], enabling built-in manageability capabilities such as a graceful OS shutdown to avoid data corruption during operations.
Multicore is designed to improve performance of certain software products. Not all customers or software applications will necessarily benefit from use of this technology. Performance and clock frequency will vary depending on application workload and your hardware and software configurations. Intel’s numbering, branding and/or naming is not a measurement of higher performance.
Some functionality of this technology, such as Intel Active management technology and Intel Virtualization technology, requires additional 3rd party software in order to run. Availability of future "virtual appliances" applications for Intel® vPro™ technology is dependent on 3rd party software providers. Compatibility with future "virtual appliances" is yet to be determined.
HP Workstations must be configured with an Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor, Intel® C620 series chipset, and Intel® I219LM GbE LAN, with a BIOS enabled to support the Intel® vPro™ platform.
